Katanekwa Kalala – Operations Associate

Katanekwa Kalala is a highly organized and dedicated professional who joined the Virtual Doctors in 2023 as a Field Assistant and Communications Intern. With a Postgraduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation and a bachelor’s degree in Demography, he brings strong expertise in data management, performance tracking, and impact assessment to support the organization’s mission of strengthening rural healthcare delivery. Katanekwa is passionate about using data-driven approaches to improve health outcomes and ensure effective project implementation. His work contributes to the efficient coordination of field activities and enhances the reach of telemedicine services across Zambia. Outside of his role with the Virtual Doctors, Katanekwa is an outgoing individual who values meaningful connections and actively grows his professional network by attending various events. In his free time, he enjoys playing billiards pool, watching football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
